The slightly angled profile of the glazing hammer allows it to glide along its edge on the glass, keeping the hand grip at a comfortable distance from the surface. This also directs the force of the strike straight to the glazing pin, and prevents the glass from cracking.
The unique stabilizing supports help to reduce shock and also to prevent the hammer head from shifting on the handle.
