The next-generation of infrared paint removers, the Speedheater Cobra is a revolutionary tool with many new innovations that make infrared paint removal even faster, easier, more ergonomic, more efficient, and environmentally friendly.
The Speedheater Cobra uses infrared heat to soften paint in just 1 to 3 seconds. The process breaks the bond between multiple coats of old paint and the underlying surface below, but without creating dangerous lead fumes from old paint.
With easy handling and heat control, the IR light can be held closer or farther from the surface to control the heating process and reduce the risk of damaging the wood. The paint then begins to bubble in a few seconds when the light is held close to the surface.
The flexible, articulating head of the versatile Speedheater Cobra allows the tool to work easily on many different, hard-to-reach surfaces, including wood and concrete, and it can quickly soften old paint, putty, varnish, and glue, so that it can be scraped away easily. It is also effective at scraping away paint from angled and carved surfaces.
